We were thrilled to participate in the Fighting Words programme. 1st to 4th class very much enjoyed the experience and are hoping their book will be published. Fingers crossed!!
Fighting Words is a initiative to inspire students aged 7-12 to explore their imaginations through writing.
Writing is not only fun, it’s also a positive form of self expression, which they hope students will take with them and use both inside and outside the classroom!
The programme aims to foster creativity, encourage teamwork and build self-confidence.
The focus of the Story Writing Workshop for primary schools is on imagination and creativity and everyone works at their own pace and does all these things and more!
The structure allows for students to participate both orally and through writing, which means there is a way for everyone to get involved and have a great time inventing new stories.
