Community Garda Rob came to school to talk to the pupils from 3rd to 6th Class about internet safety.
We were delighted to welcome Garda Rob, this week for an important talk on internet safety. Garda Rob spoke to pupils about staying safe online, the importance of protecting personal information, and how to be responsible digital citizens.
The session covered key topics such as cyberbullying, online privacy, and the dangers of sharing too much information on social media. Pupils also learned how to recognize and report unsafe online behavior and where to seek help if needed.
The talk was engaging and informative, with plenty of real-life examples and practical advice. Our pupils had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss ways to use the internet in a positive and secure manner.
