Clare Museum were delighted to be invited to Convent Primary School Killaloe to take part in our ‘Sharing Our Stories’ project. The girls gathered with their teachers to see some objects from the past that were brought in and displayed in the school. Some of the items were brought along by some of their grandparents, who also attended & shared their wonderful stories with the girls. Clare Museum brought relevant objects from the museum’s collection & shared the stories behind them. Among the objects was a cassette recorder and some cassettes that the girls were absolutely fascinated by.
