We are delighted to have dates for the Sacraments. They are as follows: June 11th – First Confession September 11th – First Holy Communion
1st and 2nd Class joined in a webinar hosted for Biodiversity week. We learnt all about the different birds that can be found in our gardens
1st and 2nd Class planted sunflower seeds and created beautiful art inspired by the big, bright flowers.
5th and 6th Class baked delicious ‘Under the Sea’ themed cakes and buns as part of a competition. Yuummm!
1st and 2nd class took inspiration from the beach to create a beautiful ocean scene using many different materials such as clay, sand, paint, playdoh, shells, umbrellas… The project took a number of weeks to complete and I think you’ll agree the girls did a fabulous job. We’ve missed our trips to the beach 🙂
The sun started to appear and got us all in a summer mood… so it was a day for ice-cream and for bringing the classroom outside.
Last week 1st and 2nd class sowed Sunflower seeds. We can’t wait to see them bloom in a few months.
Our First Communion girls paid a trip to the church last week. Thanks to Aoife for bringing in money to ensure all the girls could light a candle and say a prayer. The girls are continuing to prepare for their Sacrament, ever hopeful that they will get to make it soon, Please God!
